THREEduvets - 100% British Wool Starter Set

Sections to make a EU King Size Duvet (240 x 220 cm)

Set Comprises:
1 x Lightweight (300 gsm) wool section (120 x 220 cm)
1 x Medium Weight (600 gsm) wool section (120 x 220 cm)

We all have our own idea of what makes the perfect duvet for a great night's sleep but when you have to share your duvet with someone else, it's not always so easy. One of you may feel the cold and the other doesn't. Not any longer! We've come up with a product that's as simple as one...two...THREE! This unique innovation - which we've called THREEduvets - means that each of you can choose your own individual duvet section, that you can seamlessly join together with your partner's section to create one Super King duvet that's perfect for both of you. Find out more about this new duvet innovation here.

Since launching this special range, we've found that most couples have purchased one lightweight wool section and one medium weight wool section together. So we've created this 100% British wool Starter Set, as a stand-alone product.

THREEduvets offers even more flexibility!

If, at a later stage, you would like to purchase additional, individual, sections to mix and match your duvet sections throughout the year, then you can make your selection here.

  • We only ever use 100% British wool - and we're very proud to be the first bedding company in the UK to achieve accreditation from British Wool. Only companies that can prove 100% of their wool is British are given this accreditation.
  • We only ever use 260 thread count 100% natural cotton in the outer casing of our wool duvets.
  • Each duvet section is individually handcrafted by our seamstresses in Devon, and then hand folded and placed into reusable packaging.
  • Our duvets come with a Devon Duvets 5 Year Guarantee (see T&Cs)

The care instructions for your THREE Duvet sections (our modular duvet range) vary, depending on the filling you have selected.  Please follow the care instructions below:

Wool Sections:

Wool is naturally resistant to dust mites and micro bacteria, and so does not need regular washing. We recommend regular airing to freshen the duvet section. This is best done outdoors (if the weather is dry) or over a clothes airer near an open window to ensure the air gets right around your wool duvet section.

If a more thorough clean is required then please machine wash each section individually in a large capacity machine that allows the duvet section to move around freely inside the drum. Always use a 30 degrees wool cycle with a detergent specifically created for wool. A gentle spin to remove excess water and then remove immediately from the machine, reshape and air dry thoroughly. Do not tumble dry. We do not recommend dry cleaning as this process uses chemicals that can leave residue in the product.

Alpaca Sections:

Like sheep's wool, alpaca is naturally resistant to dust mites and micro bacteria, and so does not need regular washing.

Botanic Sections:

The 100% plant based filling in our Botanic duvet sections has a resistancy to dust mites, so we recommend regular airing to keep the duvet section fresh. This is best done outdoors (if the weather is dry) or can be draped over a clothes airer near an open window, to allow air circulation around the duvet section.

Botanic sections can also be machine washed, individually, in a large capcity machine and on a 30 degrees delicates cycle, using a delicates or gentle non-bio detergent. A gentle spin to remove excess water and then remove immediately from the machine and reshape, Botanic sections can be air dried or can be tumble dried on a low setting.
